I turned off the power source and removed the battery. I waited 15 minutes while looking for the battery inside the case, then tried again. It worked once and then the old one was replaced.

For those who will read this later: It was the RAM. The other Kit I tried came from Corsair as well, but now I have another set from Amazon (Kingston Fury 2x16GB 5200). After installing them, I can finally boot my PC without adjusting the RAM settings or performing a CMOS reset.
