You're facing issues with Windows installation on your used 6700k system. The blue screen error often relates to compatibility or driver problems. Try checking the Windows installation media for 32-bit or 64-bit options, and ensure your hardware drivers (especially graphics and sound) are up to date. Also, verify that your motherboard supports the required Windows version and that you're using compatible RAM and storage. If the problem persists, consider booting into Safe Mode to isolate the issue.

Did you save the ISO file and store it on a USB drive, or did you use a Microsoft USB specifically for installing Windows?

I can choose the window style I prefer, but it loads and then freezes, followed by a blue screen after 10 seconds.

Do you have another drive to test it on? This appears to be the most probable reason.

It functioned on a different machine using the same hard drive. I saved Windows but continue to encounter the error on another device.

Have you attempted to reset the BIOS? It might help to give it a try.

Error message indicates a CPU issue. I'm reverting to older components and requesting a refund for the processor.
