Hey, I built a PC for my friend but it keeps crashing often.
I tried setting the CPU voltage in offset mode +0.1, but it didn’t help.
It seems the issue might be related to the CPU or PSU, and someone mentioned the board has poor VRM design, possibly making it unsuitable for the CPU.
I’m trying to fix this by updating the motherboard, power supply, and memory.
There are also some .DMP files that need fixing, and I’m worried about security since she might be a target.
Her current specs are: A520M-A-PRO, Ryzen 9 5900x, 7700 XT, G.Skill f4-2400c 15-8GNT, CoolerMaster 750W (8-10 years old).

Absolutely, you should definitely look into a better quality motherboard for your Ryzen 9. I recently upgraded to a 5800X with an A520 due to the attractive price ($120). I also added a tower cooler and several case fans to ensure proper VRM cooling and airflow. Additionally, a more recent power supply would be ideal—even after 8-10 years, it’s not ideal for a top-tier unit.
