My recent PC setup isn't responding to power or showing any output. I suspect the issue isn't with my monitor, as it functions properly with my laptop using the same HDMI cable. I've reviewed the related discussion about post failures and followed all suggested steps: - Updated BIOS to version F37B from A620I AX Gigabyte Mobo, believing this would resolve compatibility issues for the 9000 series Ryzen CPUs. - Performed a CMOS reset by connecting the pins together while the machine was unplugged. - Tested HDMI and DisplayPort through the dedicated GPU, but no display appeared. - Replaced RAM, PCIe riser, and GPU components as recommended. - Followed additional tips from the guide, double-checking connections, ensuring sufficient power supply capacity, and verifying the iGPU worked. Despite these efforts, the system remains unresponsive. I noticed a recurring pattern: after about two minutes of startup, fans activate and power LEDs illuminate, then the machine abruptly powers off before restarting. This behavior continued even after two BIOS updates. I initially assumed it was RAM-related, but it keeps happening consistently in roughly two-minute bursts, making it unlikely to be a simple RAM issue. The hardware specs include a Ryzen 9600X RTX 5080 PNY OC Edition A620I AX Mini ITX AM5 motherboard with 2x16GB DDR5 RAM, Patriot Signature Line Series, 4800 MHz Vetroo 850W SFX Power Supply Xtia Xproto (v2).
Did you attempt to start using the PSU, CPU, and RAM? Remove all other parts including the SSD and PCIe riser cable. If you can't access the BIOS with this setup, there must be an issue with one of the components or the motherboard. If you manage to boot into the BIOS, try adding one component at a time until you identify the faulty part. Good luck!
See if your motherboard came with speaker: Because if you can plug in speaker, there's a chance it might be giving error code, if it gives error code it's usually that area's fault or somehow related with that area. So the PC doesn't boot with iGPU either? I see, so it's either power, RAM, CPU/MB, BIOS or something related to those components. Did you wait for approx 2 minutes when trying single stick? And all connections securely and well seated? (power and RAM either clicked or felt it was all the way seated?) What USB dongle are you using? Was the file in the USB at the very top no folder? I'm guessing you followed the instructions how to use and put the file in USB. Did the motherboard confirm that the BIOS update was a success? Did you try different BIOS version? Maybe F36?
