Error encountered during PC startup on initial setup.
Hello Guys, I recently set up my new PC and after two weeks of gaming and editing, I encountered a system crash while working on a video in Sony Vegas PRO 15. The error details were: BlueScreen Code: a Parameter 1: 18 Parameter 2: 2 Parameter 3: 1 Parameter 4: fffff8073e283640 OS version: 10_0_ 18362 Service Pack: 0_0 Product: 768_1 OS Version: 10.0. 18362 .2.0.0.768.101 Locale ID: 1032 My setup includes: MSI GTX 1660ti driver version 436.48 AMD Ryzen 5 3600 overclocked to 4.2 GHz, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance lpx DDR4 overclocked to 3200 MHz, MSI x470 Gaming Pro motherboard, PSU Corsair TX650M, SSD Sasung Evo 860, 500 GB. Thanks! I didn’t manage to explain everything clearly. I tested my system with Heaven Benchmark 4.0 and ran demanding games such as AC Odyssey, Adobe Illustrator, AfterFX, Lightroom, and Animate. Everything worked until the crash. At that time, the CPU reached a maximum temperature of 60°C and the GPU 40°C. I don’t think that was the cause.
I didn't fully clarify the issue; I ran my system using Heaven Benchmark 4.0 with various intense games such as AC Odyssey, editing software like Adobe Illustrator, AfterFX, Lightroom, and Animate. Everything worked smoothly until the crash. At that time, the CPU reached a maximum temperature of 60°C and the GPU 40°C. I believe this wasn't the cause.
Various programs rely on distinct tools and architectures. Temperatures are largely irrelevant during BSOD occurrences. If the issue happened just once, it’s probably not a big concern unless it keeps recurring during that same event. The usual first steps involve disabling overclocks and testing from there. Most crashes linked to program instability stem from unstable overclocking.
