Error encountered during overclocking.
Motherboard: AsRock Z87 Extreme4
CPU: Intel i5-4670K
Power Supply: Corsair 850 RM +80 Gold.
Can the chip truly reach overclocking beyond 4.2 GHz even when voltage is increased? It shows a blue screen with the error code Whea_Uncorrectable_Error. Even attempts at 4,4 GHz and 4,3GHz result in the same blue display during benchmark tests. I have adjusted the core voltage between 0.9V and 1.3V.
Edit: All drivers and bios were updated recently.
WHEA=Windows Hardware Error Architecture indicates a possible CPU issue. If your system runs smoothly at 4.2ghz but shows Whea_Uncorrectable_Error during testing, it's likely the problem lies with the CPU. You might want to stop using it at that speed.
