I recently worked on a ROG x570-i with 3700x, but it won't boot and shows the VGA error light whether the GPU is connected or not. I have a previous SSD used as a boot drive, though I think it needs to be wiped. Could anyone help me figure this out?
The GPU functions on various systems. Non-Gyrant Ryzen models require a GPU to be shared.
I placed it in a different setup, but the wiring seemed off and there was still no signal. It’s a Zotac card that came with two dual six-pin to single eight pin adapters. I didn’t use those in the first setup, opting instead for two separate eight-pin cables (that should work). In the second system where we tested the GPU, I connected the two GPU plugs to one eight-pin cable.
