Error during startup of Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC.
Every 10 to 15 minutes I experience a freeze in-game, followed by a BSOD after ten seconds. This is really frustrating. Rockstar support seems unresponsive, and I need assistance from the community instead. System details: GPU R9 280x Vapor X OC (underclocking helped but didn't resolve), CPU FX-8350, 10GB RAM, Mobo Asus Gaming. Crash logs show Microsoft Windows Debugger v6.3.9600.17298. The dump file contains only kernel address space, and symbol paths are incomplete. Response times vary, with some entries missing or labeled as "not present." The session started on April 19, 2015, and the system has been up for over four years. The error messages suggest issues with ntkrnlmp.exe, possibly related to a missing file or corrupted data.
If others face the same problem, lower your GPU clock to about 948 using MSI Afterburner, and refresh it whenever you're ready to play.
