it's a fresh Corsair Vengeance LX 3600MHz CL18 2x8 setup running with a Ryzen 3200G on a Gigabyte B450M S2H Gigabyte board, XMP is turned on for preset settings and working at advertised values. After removing the battery and restoring BIOS defaults, the issues persist. Are you seeing these problems with a faulty RAM kit? Windows Memory Diagnostic found no errors. I began testing with MemTest86 after a bluescreen.

Disable XMP, verify errors. Confirm presence in slots 2 and 4. Consider running OCCT’s memory stress test to see if errors arise.

I’ll explore alternative programs too. RAM is functioning in dual-channel mode since the motherboard only has two RAM slots. I’m also wondering what actually triggered the blue screen.

It might require a RAM upgrade, around 3600 MB, on Zen+'s iMC. Turn off XMP/DPCP first and check stability. Updated August 14, 2020 by TofuHaroto My English got messed up lol.

I turned off XMP and there are no more issues in OCCT and Prime95. Now I wonder if the RAM kit isn’t working properly or if the 3200G/MBOO can’t manage the XMP settings—since it seems to function partially in games.

I've also explored adjusting timings, voltages, and updating the BIOS. Checked if RAM was placed in the proper slots. The issue with DOCP is it doesn't fully configure all XMP timings, so the board might produce values lower than the XMP settings. This could be resolved by tweaking the DRAM voltage or manually adjusting other auto-setting parameters.

Only XMP profile 1 is available. I installed the newest BIOS and adjusted the timing, but no post was applied.

Adjust the IMC not functioning. Change the SOC to 1.1, DRAM to 1.35, then configure 2933 using xmp/docp. If stable, proceed to 3200 and finally 3600 with the same settings.

To verify the XMP timing settings, download Thaiphoon Burner to view all the timings, then use Ryzen Timing Checker in Windows to check your current settings. After installation, click Read and then Report at the bottom of the report. You can find more details at the provided links.

uncertain if you should believe Taiphoon, since it mentions Samsung B-Die and conflicting reports suggest it might be a Samsung C-Die. it seems this RAM kit could be better suited for Intel CPUs, but many users report issues with Vengeance LPVS not working smoothly on Ryzen processors.
