Downloading Batman Arkham Knight was a bit tricky. I got it for $4, but there were issues—especially with disk write errors. Other games worked fine, even large ones like GTAV on my 1TB drive. I also wiped my hard drive recently, but everything looked good. The problem started with Max Payne 3, which reported errors despite being a big file.

Re-examine the disk carefully, just to confirm it lacks abad sectors. That seems unusual.

Consider dividing the disk and reinstalling it, perhaps avoiding that area. It's a risky approach, but worth trying.

i could try installing it on my ssd (have enough space on there), then move the files over to my hard drive.
