I just replaced the CPU from a Ryzen 5 1500X with a Ryzen 7 3700X. Updated the BIOS and increased RAM to 3000MHz. The team group RAM is 3200MHz. I overclocked my previous CPU using AMD Master Plan, but I’m unsure if that’s the problem or if drivers need updating. I accidentally uninstalled all of AMD’s software and then reinstalled it. I have an ASRock X370 gaming motherboard, 2x8GB RAM, and a GTX 1070.

If you can access the OS temporarily, kindly include the dump files.

I discovered the problem was that all the versions were outdated for my CPU. I had 18.10.20_NHDA but required 18.50.16.01_WHQL. Many people responded and helped, even though I was new to PC building!

It seems like you were thinking about chipset software, but it looks like you didn’t find a thread there. Let me know if you'd like help with something else!
