Hi, Setup: Asus prime b250m-k Pentium G4560 Patriot Viper 4 DDR4 16GB 3200MHZ ( CL16 (16-18-18-36)) I've recently bought some new ram but when using this new ram my computer BSOD's around 5 minutes of logging into Windows with a 'Memory management' error. I've ran Windows memory diagnostic tool and that reports there is a hardware error with the RAM. I've tried the default bios settings, XMP profile and I've manually set the voltage / timings but still it blue screens. PCPartPicker and Corsair both say this ram / Corsair's same spec RAM is compatible with this setup so I don't think it's a compatibility issue (I know my setup only supports max speed of 2400MHZ but the RAM scales down to this speed). Does anybody have any further ideas before I return the ram, or does it seem likely that one/both of the sticks is faulty? Thanks!

Reset the CMOS. Turn off XMP settings. Then run MemTest86 and OCCT.

Both memory cards showed significant issues; the first had a high number of errors while the second had fewer but remained in the hundreds.

It varies in timing, so it might just not work out yet. As mixing things up can lead to issues, try using the new kit separately and see if it starts up.

The testing has been adjusted to exclude the original RAM connection, as the motherboard only provides two slots which prevents linking the old RAM. For a pure RAM configuration—without CPU or GPU—I haven't attempted that either. PCPartPicker didn’t report any compatibility problems, and Corsair’s site also confirmed it works fine for the same specifications.
