Error detected in Intel AX200 Wi-Fi chip onboard device.
My onboard (Gigabyte Aourus Pro Wi-Fi X570) Intel ax200 WiFi chip in Windows 10 isn't functioning and displays error 10. The issue started after connecting the Asus router via LAN port. I'm unable to access Ethernet due to home renovations and require internet access. For troubleshooting, I've tried resetting network card settings, removing VPN virtual cards, disabling and reenabling the device in Device Manager, downgrading drivers, changing power plans to disable auto-save mode, wiping driver data and reinstalling them, and draining power through the power button. So far, these steps haven't resolved the problem. I'm considering a full Windows reinstall since I need the PC up quickly for work tomorrow and setting up necessary software takes time. Anyone have suggestions or should I go with a fresh install? Also, Linux runs perfectly on WiFi.
Check if you're using Gigabyte's official driver page or installing drivers directly from Intel. It could help to switch to Intel drivers if you haven't tried yet. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...pters.html Consider removing the device through Device Manager, restarting, and verifying the status afterward.
Intel suggests the following steps. Focus on installing a clean driver, then power off the computer completely and unplug it for roughly an hour before attempting a cold boot. If issues persist, you may need to open the case, check the wireless card, eject and reinsert it, and reconnect the antenna cables.
I needed to move to the earliest available driver on Gigabyte's site
