This build has caught my attention, but I encountered a persistent stress cache error. The system would freeze for 30 to 40 seconds after error code 15 appeared, which is the "Pre-memory System Agent initialization started" message. I expected a normal ramp-up time for a new system, but it hasn’t improved after a week of testing. I’ve tried single RAM sticks, multiple sticks (including G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo, EXPO 64GB DDR5 6000), and even swapped the motherboard (ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO). The issue remains consistent across all configurations. I ran AIDA64 and it consistently stops the test on the Stress cache option. No other tests failed. Have anyone else faced this problem? I’ve filed a warranty with AMD since the 15-day return period is over.

Cache test also impacts RAM usage. From my experience, it seems like a memory problem. The CPU appears fine—have you updated the BIOS and chipset drivers?

Bios is installed on 0922 and all chipset drivers are current. I installed the Asus Armoury Crate and also used the AMD chipset drivers updater. Windows is fully updated. I've asked for a replacement at Newegg to check if that resolves the problem.

How many sticks do you have? I also understand and would highlight the RAM. DDR5 isn't that strong right now.

it's not the CPU, believe me if there was an issue with the cache, the system wouldn't even try to run. At best it would block completely, and at worst it might involve the memory controller on the CPU struggling with fast memory. Even if that happened, the system should let you use it normally from the start by setting RAM to its lowest speed for compatibility. Don't worry, you won't have any problems out of the box. If needed, a replacement will be provided.

I used just two sticks and reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery. It worked on code 15 for about 30 to 40 seconds. I ran the computer for a few minutes, then restarted. The PC went into code 15 for roughly 3 seconds before booting up quickly, around 15 seconds. I switched back to BIOS and enabled EXPO II, but it kept hanging on code 15. I used the PC for a while, restarted, and it again froze on code 15 for a long time. After changing the BIOS to EXPO I, it hung on code 15 for less than 10 to 15 seconds. Setting RAM to auto works fine, but EXPO I causes a 10 to 15 second delay while EXPO II takes 30 to 40 seconds. I think I should look for another RAM that doesn’t require EXPO settings and still offers fast performance. My 5950X uses CL14 DDR4 with XMP, which seems to cause issues. I’m planning to research other RAM options.

I purchased two sets of 2x16GB drives, totaling 64GB. The models included were 6000, 30-38-38-38-96.

I've seen this before, lol. After checking more options, the issue seems linked to ASUS BIOS 0922 and the newer 0925. Both versions aren't stable, causing memory training on each boot when XMP is selected. Disabling Context Restore from Auto also leads to BOSD and other problems like Windows corruption. I went back to BIOS 0805, which now runs smoothly with fast boot times and EXPO II profile on RAM. For anyone facing long boot times due to memory training, I recommend reverting to BIOS 0805 and enabling Context Restore. This should keep things stable until Asus releases an updated BIOS.
