Hey there! Friends, I hope you're all doing well. I'm a bit confused about my NIC and suspect it might be failing. Recently, I've faced some tough DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN errors. I've checked OpenDNS, Cloudflare, Google, and even my ISP's DNS settings. I've tried both 2.4 and 5G Wi-Fi, plus I've connected directly to the network. I reformatted the device, reinstalled Windows 10, and updated drivers, but the problem persists. The launchers won't load properly, and servers seem unreachable. Web pages aren't loading fully or images are missing. I've attached some images from Imgur to illustrate the issues. I'm running speed tests and it looks like my connection is slow—500 down, 25 up with Charter Spectrum. They've already spoken to them too, but they don't see any problems on their end. Any network experts out there with suggestions? Thanks!

Traverse the link of connection. Some ISP routers take over DNS port and switch to their own. Your problem could lie with the router or the ISP. Also turn off your extensions first—they can also affect the DNS your browser uses. Your PC → Router → Modem → ISP

It happens even in games, right? Like if you check the images I linked, it’s messing up League of Legends and Albion Online. Also, when I switch maps in Albion Online, sometimes I get a message that servers aren’t available or offline, but they actually are.

It seems my ISP or a network problem caused the issue. I left another PC unused for over a year and connected it to check for similar errors, which happened too. They sent a technician to inspect the lines and modem, replacing the modem after testing. The tech confirmed it might be an internal issue but couldn't reach engineers directly. I’ll keep calling until someone comes out and checks, as the problem could relate to DNS servers or routing—possibly a broader network fault since it started after a major outage.
