Sometimes minor differences appear during BIOS flashing, which could explain the inconsistency. Additionally, consider the USB drive size—if it's too large, the BIOS might reject it. It could be reading the file and then generating an error.

Can he access the BIOS and capture a photo of it using his phone? This might help confirm the version and motherboard. I suspect we might be downloading the incorrect files.
