Need assistance with error codes BSOD.
My Asrock z77 Extreme 4 motherboard uses a SandyBridge Core i5.
I have an 850W Corsair PSU and 8 GB of Kingston DDR3-1333 RAM.
This setup has been running for about three years, but I recently tried overclocking it using CPU-Z and it performed well.
The system is watercooled.
Recently, when trying to boot up, Windows 10 appears and shows a message saying "WHEA uncorrectable error," which causes the machine to restart and sometimes displays "MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION."
I reset the BIOS settings, removed the video card, and used the built-in HDMI output.
I also tried removing and replacing RAM, but nothing changed.
I searched online but couldn’t find a solution.
I’m unsure if the problem is with the CPU, motherboard, or RAM.
Currently, my chip temperatures are around 30 degrees, and the system worked perfectly before this issue.
What advice do you have?
The BSOD indicates a CPU issue, so I should begin by swapping the processor.
