I received a HP 20-C020 all-in-one unit from a friend to keep. But when I power it on before it starts, it emits a very loud error message. It produces three long lower-pitched beeps followed by four shorter higher-pitched ones, repeating five times before functioning normally. After disassembling and unplugging the speakers, I’ve tested both with and without any connections. The only possibility I can think of is that I’m not using an OEM power cable. Would this affect performance? Is there another reason? Thanks!

Exploring the manual will likely reveal precise details about this issue (HP does handle it well, contrary to what many think). However, a fast internet search indicates it might simply be a dead CMOS battery.

I checked the available resources, but there’s no documentation listed for this AIO. You might want to look at the manufacturer’s website or contact their support team for assistance.
