It began when my computer would display a black screen or no video after waking from sleep, but after restarting it showed a working screen. However, the video issue persisted upon waking. After shutting down and trying to restart, I entered auto-repair mode, which remained stuck. The error code 0xc000014c appeared in Windows system files. I ran sfc, chkdsk, and bootrec /fixboot, but they didn’t resolve the problem. Then I transferred the same file from my laptop to this PC to see if it would help. Now I encounter a different error, 0xc0000001, preventing me from booting into Windows. Can someone assist without requiring a full Windows reinstall?
