I powered on my computer and encountered a blue screen with the title error. I had two choices: press F1 for recovery options or Esc to open BIOS. I navigated to BIOS, selected the boot override option and chose my boot drive. It worked perfectly. After that, I restarted the PC and it functioned without issues. I rebooted again and everything was fine. Was this a false alarm or is there something more complex at play? A system summary from HWINFO showed: Computer – GIGABYTE B550 GAMING X V2 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 (Vermeer, VMR-B0) 3500 MHz (35.00x100.0) @ 3553 MHz (35.60x99.8); Motherboard – GIGABYTE B550 GAMING X V2 BIOS: FFf, 03/11/2025; Chipset – AMD B550 (Promontory PROM19 C/C1); Memory – 8192 MBytes @ 1330 MHz, 20-19-19-43 - 8192 MB; PC21300 DDR4 SDRAM - Kingston 9905625-004.A03LF; Graphics – AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (Navi 10 XLE) [MSI]; Drive details included Patriot Burst Elite 240GB, 234.4 GB, Serial ATA 6Gb/s; additional drives listed with specifications.
