Hello everyone, I’m seeking your thoughts on my HP Compaq 6200 Pro Microtower setup. After swapping the original 320W PSU for a cooler 500W unit due to GPU upgrades, I purchased a converter cable to keep the system running. My problem arises when I launch any updates and are prompted to restart. During the restart, the screen goes dark and nothing happens. To fix it, I must turn off the desktop manually and wait about four minutes for the CPU fan to spin at full speed before it restarts. Once that happens, it shows an error code 515 CPU fan not detected. I need to press F1 to continue. The issue stops once I don’t perform any updates or change hardware. I found some advice suggesting jumping a green sensor wire from the CPU fan onto the P2 power connector to bypass this error. Do you have any suggestions about which pin on the P2 connector should be connected? I’ve attached a diagram of my current wiring. Looking forward to your feedback! Thanks!
