You currently own an ASRock Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4 motherboard. It’s paired with a Ryzen 3700X 1070Ti, 16GB Corsair RAM, 256GB WD Black NVMe 1TB SSD, and a WB Black HDD. You recently added a Crucial P3 2TB NVMe drive, but the system displays error code 0d when you connect it. Despite following the manual instructions, the issue persists. I’ve also verified that both external drives work on your board and on a laptop, so the problem likely lies with the new drive itself.

Could be a BIOS problem—perhaps it’s time to check and update the BIOS settings. That’s definitely a good starting point.

I attempted to update the BIOS, but disabling TPM was required. Once TPM is off, accessing the BIOS or Windows becomes impossible, which adds another challenge.

Removing the battery from the motherboard and connecting the CLR pins should trigger the system to boot into BIOS upon startup. Remember to reinstall the battery before powering up.
