But if you completely remove all existing partitions and then proceed with the installation, everything will be erased.
No files, trojans, keyloggers, etc., etc.
BUT...if you have previously synced data to your MS account, that may appear in the new install.
What you can do to be 100% certain nothing remains from the old drive is to install on a brand new one.
To erase every backup linked to your Microsoft account, visit account.microsoft.com/devices, log in, and navigate to Cloud synced settings. Select the option to remove stored settings, then confirm to delete all backups connected to your account.
