When I attempt to run an ISO, it displays an error from EPSXE saying it has stopped working... I'm using version 1.7.0, and the graphics drivers and ZLIB components are problematic. I'm struggling to identify the issue.

You're experiencing inconsistent performance with your EPSXE setup. It's not a fixed problem, but rather something that varies.

It's not related to operating system compatibility. I tested it on Windows 98 Standard and it suddenly stopped functioning.

Getting EPSXE operational right now seems more like magic than a technical process... I think running it inside a VM with an older system would be more reliable.
