I managed to snag a 5$ Witcher 3 Goty Edition for myself. There are whispers that it might drop for free soon on EpicStore. Worth the cost? It depends on what you value.

You need to evaluate this yourself. Do you believe you’ll get value from $5 in enjoyment, or would spending it elsewhere make it worth more? Five dollars feels low for a game, so if it’s good, the price seems reasonable. If you prefer to wait and see, that’s okay too. But if it never comes free, will you regret paying that amount later? Or if it does get free, will you be upset about spending it? Ask yourself this and reflect. Personally, I only played a couple of hours in TW3—it was enjoyable but not my favorite. Some call it one of the top open-world RPGs.

In my view, TW3 is a solid investment compared to its initial price of $60. A $5 discount enhances its appeal, though the value depends on your preferences. Blood and Wine appears to align with what many high-budget titles now label as a full release, justifying its original asking price of $20.

Epic Games is offering a variety of free games regularly, though the value of $5 might be limited in this situation. I’m not sure how reliable these reports are, but if you have the money and want to try it right away, go for it.

More like a small stakeholder. Do you play COD or LOL? Basically, I got TW3 free with my GPU. Soon after, GOG had a deal around $20-25 for both DLC packs and the last two games. If you're into RPGs, it's really worth the cost, and I never buy games at full price. I don’t even pay the regular price for titles I enjoy. Plus, Blood And Wine could easily be a $40-60 full version and I wouldn’t hesitate.

DLCs are superior to the main game; they're a lot better, and if it's not great, don't worry.

Five dollars equals five dollars. Enjoying the game means enjoying the game itself. Avoid charging extra. Obtain the game if you wish; otherwise, refrain. If you're patient, wait a week.

You're aware that 40% is under half. Avoid purchasing or using products from Riot, Activision-Blizzard, Epic, Bluehole (PUBG), Ubisoft, Grinding Gear, Supercell, Platinum Games, Yager, Frontier Developments, Kakao, Paradox Interactive, Fatshark, Funcom, Sharkmob, and Discord. Likely more companies are involved. These are publicly traded firms, so investors will likely buy shares. https://www.pcgamer.com/every-game-compa...vested-in/ Remember, don't buy anything outright—many are made in China. I even dislike China, but Tencent's minority stake in Epic isn't a major concern.
