Epic Games is offering complimentary copies of Limbo for a week, beginning today and continuing through July 25th, 2019. Since they've already distributed Super Meat Boy, Subnautica, What Remains of Edith Finch, The Jackbox Party Pack, Axiom Verge, Thimbleweed Park, Slime Rancher, and more, they anticipate releasing additional free games each week throughout the entire year of 2019.

Is Epic still a good idea? I haven't installed it yet, but I'm feeling drawn to Subnautica instead.

It's too late for Subnautica, I believe - the giveaway period is over.
Regarding the EGS... Your experience might differ. I really dislike it for several reasons, and I won't go into detail just to keep things interesting.
But I'm also tied to it if I want to play a certain BL3 when it comes out...
So... yeah, up to our personal preferences, I guess.

Their games rely on Unreal Engine 4 similar to Fortnite, which results in high-quality graphics. I played Subnautica, which has impressive visuals while diving underwater and seeing amazing details. It's a bit of a simulation as well, not a traditional first-person shooter, but Unreal Engine 4 is definitely the top choice! So enjoy these games, and you might find some with even better graphics.

I have a valid right to my opinion EPIC plays and Unreal Engine 4 choices, which explains why the biggest game in gaming history "Fortnite" relies on Unreal Engine 4. Also, what’s the issue with Subnautica — since it uses Unreal Engine 4, so do all their games? Many PC titles follow the same pattern. What is this two-word answer that lacks validation, my friend?

My brain was really affected by what you said, making it tough to form a sensible response. First of all, a huge amount of what you mentioned seems completely incorrect and lacks solid reasoning. Plus, the absence of proper punctuation already makes reading difficult.

Ok then I apologize.  I have just experienced Subnautica and that uses UE4.. I don't have experienced with these games so I assumed it was Unreal Engine 4.  I apologize for that.

You should not check the Hot Deals area. It's been a long time since now.
