I changed to a new laptop and every time I log in with my PIN, I have to press Enter to unlock it. It's running Windows 10. Can you find a solution or does this seem permanent? My machine appears to be an MSI GF63 11UC.

It varies, but on Windows 11 there aren't strict requirements. Some users reported problems on older versions and noticed that fixes often disable other authentication methods before allowing login without pressing enter. I only use local PIN, which might be part of the issue. Edit: Others suggest changing the pin type from numeric-only to alphanumeric or vice versa during setup.
