I’m almost finished with my first custom-built PC. The only remaining steps are getting the graphics card and setting up the operating system. Since I’m new to this, I’d appreciate guidance on installing Windows 8.1. I don’t have a laptop or desktop, but I might be able to use my smartphone or tablet for help. I also have an optical drive and a 12GB USB flash drive that could be useful. Thank you for your support!

A special code to unlock the powerful Windows 8 version... Honestly, it's definitely a Windows 8 activation key. Without it, you won't be able to set it up. There are some workarounds, but they aren't officially supported...

You should purchase a key. As Speedbird already mentioned, an OEM model makes sense. Try looking it up online or check a nearby electronics shop.
