I'm using Windows 7 Pro on a machine with limited internet. I'm planning a replacement with a Ryzen 9 5900X and think I'll need to switch to Windows 10 for better performance. Should I upgrade before or after the build finishes? About two months ago I could still get a free upgrade to Windows 10, and I want the change as smooth as possible—just moving to a new OS without major hassle.
