You’re setting up a fresh gaming rig while keeping your existing 120GB SSD from your old Dell machine. You don’t need to reformat it unless you plan to change hardware or drivers, and since you’ve already done that, performance should remain consistent. Just ensure the new motherboard supports the drive type and any required settings.

It seems like a general warning about unexpected issues. The main concern is the OEM type license. I'm still unclear about how it behaves in Windows 8 and above. Be ready to switch to fresh Windows if the key fails. First, turn off the license on your current system. Remove all associated drivers. If you see a BSOD during startup, perform a clean installation. Otherwise, reinstall drivers and attempt activation again.
