Hi guys, my computer keeps getting too hot. I cleaned it, adjusted the fan position, and checked everything works fine. The temperature hits 50 degrees before I even start games. When playing CSGO or League of Legends, it jumps to 100 degrees and sometimes crashes.

It seems to be a stock cooler being used. The system runs an Intel Core™ i7 CPU at 3.07GHz with 3.07 Ghz. There are 12GB of RAM installed. The motherboard is ASUSTeK Computer INC. model P6X58D-E, revision 1.xx. It uses an Nvidia GTX 460 Ev3 or similar graphics card. I only recall a few details. I applied thermal paste two days ago because the issue has persisted for some time. The case features a fractal design with R2 and black pearl finishes. There are two fans total—one CPU fan and one standard case fan. The room temperature is around 20s to 30s.

Consider applying fresh thermal paste to both the GPU and CPU. Think about setting up tailored fan profiles in MSI Afterburner to accelerate fan speeds. Also, let me know your case setup—how many case fans do you have—and the typical room temperature around you.
