You began randomly during a game yesterday, and your main screen (TUF Gaming VG27AQ1A) shifted from 1440p to 1080p. After switching back to 1440p, it instantly returned to 1080p within a second—usually before you could save the settings. I've tried several fixes: reinstalled graphics drivers (NVIDIA), used a DP cable and HDMI cable, changed display ports on the GPU, updated Windows, scanned system files, removed the generic monitor driver, and even unplugged other monitors to check power usage. Still, the problem continues. Any suggestions or have you encountered similar issues before? Thanks!

Check Windows settings or NVIDIA control panel for details.

The change affects resolution and refresh rate, which can impact display quality and performance.

Is this pattern observed on other devices as well?

I don’t have any other systems to test it on. Turning off the monitor and leaving it off for a night resolved the issue temporarily, but it returned after a while. I’m attempting it again now to check if I can recreate the fix. If successful, it points toward a monitor problem.
