Ensure ray tracing is activated in your GT-1030 setup.
I understand it's not ideal. I'm trying to turn on ray tracing in Minecraft 10, but they assumed only users with RTX cards could do it. I'm hoping to find a workaround around these restrictions.
The Razzleberries RTX texture showcase map is the only one that works without needing a Microsoft Marketplace account. This means you avoid dealing with hardware limitations. Usually people try to find someone who can share their downloaded maps so you can add them to your game, but it doesn’t solve the issue of getting the required texture pack. It seems the problem is with Microsoft Marketplace restrictions, not the GPU itself. Ironically, the company mistyped the GPU name as "GTX 2060," which is why it doesn’t support newer drivers. Fixing the driver will help, but that’s another part of the challenge.
The assistance mentions that the NVIDIA site lists my graphics card as compatible with ray tracing, but it’s not a RTX 2060 or better. It explains the issue is due to the tech requirements for ray tracing in Minecraft, so it can’t support cards below that spec. They’re unsure if higher-end 10/16 series cards are included. Ensure ray tracing works smoothly but doesn’t obsess over perfection. We’ll check later—hopefully someone discovered a fix with the full release.
