Ensure PC remains powered on after modifying BIOS settings.
Yesterday I bought a used GPU and installed it on my PC. After booting up, the system showed an error saying "CPU fan not detected." I went to BIOS, made no changes except adjusting the DRAM speed from auto to 3200MHz. Then I clicked Exit save and rebooted. It took a while but didn’t reboot properly. After that, I tried manually rebooting by pressing the power button, but nothing happened. I turned off the PSU and unplugged it for about 30 seconds, but the issue persisted. I also reset the CMOS by pressing the button and removed the battery from the motherboard (Asus ROG MAXIMUS HERO XI Z390). If anyone can help with this problem, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks and have a good day.
I attempted once more today. Still, nothing is functioning. Just the motherboard and the other side are operational.
It depends on what you mean by teaching memory—sometimes it requires time to build retention. Let it rest for a bit. Do you have Fan Spin?
