People are seeking solutions for why Fallout 3 behaves erratically on Windows 10. Most mods you typically run cause crashes during launch, so you rely on adjustments like boosting damage. You mention using several fixes—stutter remover, Fose, Darnified UI, and a fake fullscreen mod. The 3GB RAM enabler also helps. These changes provide some relief but aren’t enough to keep the game stable. It appears this issue is specific to Windows 10. Others have reported success on Windows 7. Anyone with advice would be greatly appreciated.

It might be that your GPU isn't working well with that game, so consider using it as usual.

It isn't a driver or video card issue—Fallout3.exe is no longer functioning. Additionally, my GPU is not upscaling as expected for Fallout 3. When I run the game, it just sits idle.

Fallout 3 faces problems with Windows 7, but you might still manage to get it running on 10. Good luck!

Never experienced issues with any Falliut titles on 7/8.1/10... so nothing to know.

I wasn't able to get it to function until I installed the Windows Live feature, which seemed to resolve the issue.
