I’m not entirely sure where this fits between networking and software. I’ll share it here. I work as a designer, use a Mac at work and a PC at home. I’m exploring ways to set up a shared mirror drive for my daily projects. At home I run Windows 10 on my PC, while my work Mac has a lot of design folders. I want to keep most of my files organized on my Mac but have them updated on my home machine in real time—maybe every hour or so would be enough. This way, when I’m off work I can access the latest version of my projects without having to redo everything. I’d also like to keep some files locally for safety, so accidental deletions don’t affect my professional work. Ideally, this setup should work across both physical drives and a cloud backup, giving me flexibility. I’m open to any services or tools that can help with this kind of mirroring.
