Hello, I bought a Ryzen 9 5900x thinking my Asus Prime B350 M-A would work after a BIOS update. As someone not familiar with motherboards, I assumed it would be straightforward. Now that I'm updating, I can't upgrade the BIOS to version 6042 needed for the new CPU. I suspect the issue is that I'm using a Ryzen 7 series chipset which isn't supported in the "6000 versions." I've tried various methods like ezflash, AI suite 3, and resetting the motherboard, but nothing helped. My motherboard also lacks a BIOS USB port. What version of the software are you using? If it's below 5603, consider updating to 5603 or 5606 first.

After several attempts, I resolved the issue by downloading a version from ASUS' site and installing it manually via BIOS (the method I tried earlier). This time, I simply placed the .CAP file in an open location, which allowed it to run. It was a last resort, but it worked and didn’t brick my system.
