After playing for about half an hour across several demanding games, I observed in HWinfo that all CPU cores were stuck at the same speed instead of some boosting up to 5.05ghz while others slowed down. I ran process lasso on bitsum to check performance, but it doesn’t seem the power settings are influencing frequencies this way. There are certain titles that rely heavily on single-core performance, and I noticed a noticeable drop in their scores. Anyone has any idea why this is happening or how to fix it? Also, I saw that the "enhanced" option in HWinfo disappeared after a BIOS reset, and my Cinnebench R23 score fell from 18100 to 16300 following that change.
I looked into Ryzen Master, noticed HWInfo showing clock speeds for cores that Ryzen Master claimed were idle. I also removed Process Lasso since it seemed to add unnecessary complexity. It was only installed with my 5950X, and I deleted it after switching to the 7800X3D.
Adjusted the PBO in BIOS didn’t seem to work, but after enabling it in Ryzen Master with the correct CO settings, it functioned properly. Your guess about using Ryzen Master was correct. Thanks!
