After some challenges setting up Windows with BootCamp, I finally got it running, but now another issue arises. When I open the BootCamp partition, it displays an error: "Windows cannot be installed on (partition name)." It mentions an MBR partition table, and on EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT. After looking online, someone suggested a BIOS fix. I tried booting into BIOS on my Mac by pressing (Cmd) + Option + O + F, and it prompted: "No bootable device—insert boot disk and press any key." That’s where I’m now. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

Which Windows release did you attempt? 7, 8, 10? 7 usually fails to install in EFI unless your image includes the required files. 8 and 10 support EFI mode, but you’ll need to change your disk format to GPT. The issue arises because macOS relies on a GPT-protected partition table, which Windows treats as an MBR. You should use DiskPart and execute a GPT conversion command to resolve this.

Thanks for letting me know. It sounds like you ran into a problem while cleaning your disk. To recover your MacOS system, try restoring from a backup or using Time Machine. If you have a recent backup, restore it now. Otherwise, consider checking your disk partitions and ensuring the correct one is selected during setup.
