Thanks for your help with Assassins Creed. Both the CPU and GPU are running at full capacity. When I built this machine, I managed to balance it as far as possible. Do you think it’s worth purchasing something now, or should I hold off until the next generation? I have two options in mind: 1) Get a new GPU like an GTX 1660TI or RX5600XT right away and wait for the upcoming Intel release (I can still use my water cooler with that socket, and the new models look great), or 2) Invest in something such as an R5 3600 paired with a B450 TOMAHAWK MAX. I can upgrade my water cooler by buying the adapter for just 3€. Either way, I should also consider getting a new RAM kit since my current one is only 2400Mhz and even at 2800Mhz overclocking would be limited—Ryzen needs at least 3200Mhz for best results.

I focus solely on gaming at 1080p resolution. I have two displays: one offering 144Hz, FreeSync, and 1080p, and another standard 1080p screen with a 1ms refresh rate.

However, the B550 board supports upcoming Ryzen 4000 models.
