What network equipment is present in your home? Which internet service provider connection type do you use (DSL, fibre, coaxial)? Are you connected via a wired modem or router?

Identify the source of the problem. Determine how you're linked to your router, switch, or access point.

Currently, we have switched to a fresh (coax) Charter router. I typically connect via Wi-Fi, but I attempted to use a wireless extender connected to an Ethernet port.

Test it using a connected computer. This will confirm whether Wi-Fi is the problem. Would you like me to run MOCA on your home network?

You could connect your PC directly to the internet using an Ethernet cable, linking the extender straight to the PC for a wired connection.

Connect a cable from your PC to the router for testing purposes only. There are no additional extenders involved.

If the internet test returns positive, you should proceed with the planned actions or tasks as intended.
