Hey everyone!
I just assembled a new gaming PC with an i7 8700K and Corsair H115i (no delid). I’m planning to push the CPU overclock to about 4.8-5GHz. But the previous rig I owned was a Core 2 Quad Q6600, and since then there have been so many changes in BIOS settings, names, and more. I’m not sure what the new voltage options or labels actually mean. For instance, what’s the difference between Adaptive, Offset, and Manual mode? How do they compare? Any guidance would be really helpful.

Specs:
i7 8700K
ASUS TUF Pro-Gaming Mobo
16GB DDR4 RIPJAW G.SKILL RAM @3000MHz
GTX Inno3D 1080Ti iChill X4

P.S.
Any fellow 8700K users have any reference points on voltage or settings? I know each chip is different. Thanks in advance!
