Consider taking off the plastic covers on the VRM components if you want to access them more easily.

It's true, the setup is costly. However, even with a 300W system, a Titanium PSU won't cut power consumption by much—around 30W at most—and your setup won't run at full capacity continuously. It might not pay off right away.

I checked the video and noticed your K5 and my K3 seem quite alike. I assumed you were referring to those VRM shields. If it doesn’t matter, I’ll leave them alone.

I meant the Titanium PSU isn't required for exactly what I'm planning to do with the system compared to a Gold or Platinum one, not that my existing unit would be enough. I understand mine is poor, so upgrading it along with the board would be wise. Based on your comments, I might eventually look into a Gold 650 or 750 for 1-2 years instead of the powerful 850W. This could save some money right now.

I discovered a Prime X370-Pro for 80€. Should I invest in this compared to my K3, or wait three months for an X570 Aorus Elite?

If you don’t want to upgrade to an AM4 processor with more than eight cores, that’s fine.
