Engaging with action center alerts on Windows 10
Yes, you can engage with notifications in the action center on Win 10 in a manner similar to mobile devices, by launching the relevant applications or settings directly from there.
I often receive email alerts from Windows 10, and tapping on them launches the Mail program to the right address. When notified about something like updating Java, it brings up the updater. The outcome varies based on the app developer and the specific action taken.
I don't use Windows Store apps, so much eww. Win32 apps do support these push notifications too and the click functionality. Discord is a great example. If I get a mention in Discord i can click the notification I get and it sends me straight to that message!
Curious. I'll check why my Discord isn't responding to notifications. If I tap the alert, it doesn't trigger anything.
