Do you believe the combination of 5700X plus 4070 could cause a bottleneck for 1080p gaming? I'm mainly playing AAA titles like Last of Us, RE4, Spider-Man, etc., often at 1080p or higher. Do you think the 5000 series Ryzen and DDR4 will still perform well in the future?

there will be a slight bottleneck. i’d receive a 6800xt, which would provide improved performance and ease the cpu’s limitations due to nvidia’s driver issues.

5700x is about a year old. If it's struggling with a 4070, you should boost your graphics options.

There will be a slight neck in some games, but the 6800XT remains the superior choice due to its larger VRAM and better performance overall.
