I generally handle the game smoothly at normal FPS, but it occasionally stutters—frames drop to 30-40 for a short time before returning. This is often followed by random crashes. Even after restarting, the issue persists. Last time it happened, I checked my CPU usage and saw it spike to 100% before the crash, prompting a restart. I've lowered graphics settings without resolving the problem. It's unclear exactly what's causing it, and it seems similar to other games like Overwatch, though only with brief frame drops.

My setup looks similar to this for most of my playtime (<10 hours). I'm checking if Wallpaper Engine might have been the cause, since I recently experienced a crash where both the game and engine reported it as another program's issue.

PSU looks sufficient, and I think thermal issues aren't the cause. Since I haven’t played RDR2 yet, I’m not sure what settings might need tweaking. I experienced graphics crashes in Destiny 2 when my resolution exceeded what my monitor could handle.

I'm happy to know it's not a hardware problem. The wallpaper engine wasn't the cause either. I'm currently reinstalling the drivers.

I believed a fresh install would assist. At least it worked temporarily. I played the game for some time, but it crashed again this morning with the same issue. After restarting the game, it seemed to function properly afterward. I'm uncertain about the next steps, but updating drivers might have made a small difference.
