Hello, here are the titles that require Directx 12: Atomic Heart (Xbox Game Pass), Lies of P (Xbox Game Pass), and Witcher 3 (Steam). While playing any of these, you experience a brief black screen lasting 1 to 3 seconds. After that, the game fails to recognize your controller type, displaying Xbox One buttons and keyboard icons regardless of whether you're using a keyboard or a controller. This issue occurs consistently across all three games when running on Directx 12. After the black screen, you can exit the game normally by pressing the Windows key. Your PC specifications are: CPU - AMD RYZEN 9 3900X, GPU - RTX 2070 Super, RAM - 32 GB, 4 GB LPDDR5X, OS - Windows 10 Pro (Build 22045.3448), Drive - Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 TB.

What I've tried:
1. Disabled GPU drivers via DDU utility in safe mode, reinstalled and updated from NVIDIA Experience.
2. Enabled GPU debugging.
3. Turned off anti-aliasing in the NVIDIA control panel.
4. Cleared the DirectX Shader cache.

It seems your system is experiencing a DirectX 12 problem. You should be able to change from DirectX 12 to 11.

Thanks for the update. I confirmed BitLocker is active and am wondering if it might affect DirectX 12 performance.

What BIOS version is installed on your motherboard? If it's outdated, you could be facing the USB problems AMD addressed previously.

Hello, thank you for your response. My Bios version is E7C35AMS.AC0. Build Date: 17-03-2022. I believe the problem isn't related to the USB, as I played ori and the Blind Forest for hours with the controller without encountering any issues.

Upgrade your BIOS for the AGESA model (1.2.0.6). Ensure your system details are current. Install the latest chipset drivers from AMD and follow Samsung Magician instructions for SSD updates. Check the official support page for the most recent firmware.

Hello,
I've updated the Bios, installed the newest chipset drivers, and have Samsung Magician installed. No update was needed. I'll try playing again after these changes and verify later. Thanks a lot!

I would run an SFC/scannow in troubleshooting mode and reinstall DX12. Or fix it altogether. You should be able to do that.
