I'm not sure if this forum is suitable for your query. My laptop runs Windows 10 Home and I can't log in. The system doesn't reach the login screen and gets stuck with spinning dots before that. I can open advanced settings and the command prompt, but I've tried using a bootable USB from Media Creation Tool and ran Startup Repair, which didn't help. I also checked the instructions on the site, but they don't seem to work. Anyone have suggestions or should I consider a fresh installation?

A fresh installation is likely the simplest and fastest way. Just keep in mind to back up important files on your C drive, which you can achieve by using a Linux USB boot and mounting the drive for backup.

You're not alone in this. Using a command prompt for troubleshooting isn't always possible, but there are other ways to check the issue.
