Encountered an A2 error during startup.
A few days ago I changed my CPU and right after powering off the PC the A2 error appeared. I’ve tried almost everything—removed CMOS for a while and it didn’t fix it. I’m not sure what to do now. My motherboard is an MSI B85I Gaming.
Which processors are being used? It might be worth updating the BIOS to ensure compatibility with the new CPU. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/...upport-cpu Finally, after installing a new CPU, it's a good idea to reset the CMOS once.
Issue is missing BIOS info; old CPU was i5 4590, new is i5 4670
