You should close the installer and then try running it again. This often resolves the issue without needing a restart.

You're seeing an "access denied" error because the process is still active. Try ending the service or using a different method to restart it.

I recently changed a friend's Windows 10, but it took about two hours to navigate the "Updates" section... Yet I gave it time and the installation went without issues.
